Local 10 News highlighted SoFlo Performance, interviewing our coaches about competitive training while showcasing our team, our community, and our passion for inline speed skating.
When Local 10 News reached out after discovering our team online, we jumped at the opportunity to share our program and highlight competitive inline speed skating in South Florida. Their crew came out to Brian Piccolo Park to learn about our program, see what our team is all about, and film a practice session up close.
The summer weather had other plans and rained out our session, but our team still showed up in full force. Our coaches spoke with the Local 10 crew about the history of SoFlo Performance, how we structure sprint and endurance drills to prepare for competition, and why inline speed skating is such a high-speed, technical, and rewarding sport. To make sure viewers got the full experience on screen, we provided video highlights from our training sessions on the track.
Having our team featured on Local 10 is a huge milestone for our athletes, coaches, and families. A massive thank you to every team member who came out during that stormy afternoon to support the club because moments like this show how strong our community really is.
