Background
I have spent my career deeply involved in competitive inline speed skating and roller sports, both as an athlete and a coach. Throughout my competitive career, I earned 45 U.S. National Titles and represented Team USA internationally as a two-time Roller Derby World Champion. Transitioning into leadership roles, I have served on Team USA staff five times, including appointments as Team Manager for the U.S. Inline World Team and Head Coach for the World Games.
Coaching Approach
Coaching since 1991, I focus on building a strong foundation of discipline, consistency, and purposeful training. I am highly technique-oriented and believe that efficiency is one of the most important factors in generating speed. Over the years, many of the athletes I have worked with have advanced to the World Team level, distinguished by their strong skating mechanics, attention to detail, and commitment to physical preparation.
Personal
I combine my passion for sport with a commitment to education, serving my community as a science teacher. I am also the proud mother of three grown children. I have dedicated time to supporting the growth of skating by helping bring the only Vesmaco-coated track in the United States to our community, providing local athletes with access to a world-class training facility close to home.
